High School diploma

Pass Drug Test

Proficient with computers and other standard office technology (filing, copy, print, scan). Proficient with Excel spreadsheets and formulas and typing. Required to demonstrate.

Excellent time management and organizational skills. Detail oriented.

Communicate professionally (Phone/Email). Ability to leave personal phone alone.

Good people skills - Friendly. Interested in being a team player.

Physical ability to lift 10-20 pounds and sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch repeatedly.


NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

Any past TXDOT or Contractor experience.

Knowledgeable about electrical materials such as PVC or wire, etc. Associate I Bachelor's degree in business operations or related field. Experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar.

Familiar with accounting, payroll, insurance.

About the Company

We are seeking a highly organized, diligent, and responsible Inventory Controller to join our team. In this position, you will manage inventory through an Excel spreadsheet database system. You will be required to coordinate orders and deliveries, perform regular inventory audits and analyses, and forecast the supply and demand requirements to ensure consistent stock levels.
This is a full-time position M-F, 8:00-5:00, with 1 hour lunch.
INVENTORY CONTROLLER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines.
Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure all materials are TXDOT approved and meet Buy America Build America requirements.
Coordinate the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing. Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records. Perform regular stock checks.
Answer phones and assist Office Manager with various tasks.
